A full walkthrough of this VALBEX screen — what it shows, what each control does and what the numbers mean.
This screen is the honest track record — how our tickets actually do, so you can judge them for yourself. Every number includes the misses.
What Is Counted
Every ticket we posted that has finished, newest first, with the result of each leg inside it. A ticket counts only once all its matches are played — nothing is counted in advance.
It starts on %@
That is the day the tickets took their current shape. The record before it measured something the app no longer does, so we cleared it rather than keep showing it — a track record you cannot trust is worth less than none. Everything from that day on is real, live and dated. Until the first results land you'll see a “kicks off today” note; nothing is faked or back-filled.
What the Numbers Mean
- Hit rate — the share of settled tickets that won. A ticket wins only if every leg wins, so this is a strict measure.
- Settled — how many tickets have finished and been counted so far.
- Hit / missed — winning and losing tickets, both shown.
- ROI — your real return: 1 unit staked on each ticket at its combined odds — a win returns the odds, a loss returns nothing. It answers the real question: are the tickets making money, not just winning often.
Where a retirement changes the bet
When a player retires injured, the match winner still settles — you win or lose that bet, and we count it here exactly as your bookmaker would. Our model is measurably worse on those matches: on retired matches our own tips came in at 55% against the 79% the model expected. An injury is not something a model of playing strength can see coming, so the favourite goes out about as often as the outsider. That is why a player who retired in the last seven days is left out altogether. Totals and handicaps on a retired match are cancelled and the stake returned, which is also how the market settles them.
Why we do not show a backtest
Any model looks good on the past it was built from. What actually counts is how it does on matches it has never seen — so that is the only thing we show you here, gathered day by day, in the open.
Honest Numbers
Everything here is measured, never marketing. We will never show a fake “98% accuracy”. Losing tickets and missed tips are always included, because a track record you can trust is the whole point.
Betting is a long game, not a result you see from one day to the next. A strategy with a real edge still spends weeks in the red, and a good week proves nothing on its own. Judge any of these numbers over hundreds of bets.
