Challenge
A full walkthrough of this VALBEX screen — what it shows, what each control does and what the numbers mean.
Challenge is a staking plan, not another source of tips. It takes the tickets we publish anyway and answers a different question: which one to place next, and for how much. It doubles after a win — a loss is never chased.
How One Challenge Runs
- It starts at your base stake — the slider on the Strategies calculator. It is a sum in euros, up to €100, not a share of your bankroll.
- Every win doubles the next stake. Five wins in a row complete the challenge: on a €10 base that is €10, €20, €40, €80 and €160.
- A loss ends that run, and the next one starts again at the base stake.
- Four losses end the whole challenge, and the next one begins with the very next ticket. They do not have to be consecutive — any four inside the same challenge.
- A cancelled match counts as neither. The stake comes back and the run carries on where it was.
What to Bet Now
The Bets tab carries the plan. The line at the top counts how many of the tickets below it the plan actually stakes and what they cost together — and that first number is almost always 1, because Challenge never has two bets running. The recommended ticket shows its stake in green; every other row says it is waiting for the previous bet to settle and shows a dash, because a bankroll after a bet that was never placed does not exist. A ticket whose earliest match has already kicked off is not offered.
Why It Plays So Few Tickets
Doubling after a win means knowing the win first, so most of what we publish is skipped: our tickets overlap, and a new one usually starts before the one before it has finished. That is the method, not a fault in it. A ticket counts as settled three hours after its last kick-off — an estimate, not the real settlement time.
Six Hours Between Bets
Two Challenge bets must kick off at least six hours apart. That is what makes the plan followable: the earlier one has finished by then, and there is still time to place the next. Turn on Challenge Alerts in More and a notification tells you how each bet ended and when the next one kicks off — nothing else, and only if you ask for it.
What a Failed Run Costs
It depends on the odds, and the ladder is built for 2.00. At exactly 2.00 a failed run costs the stake it began with, wherever it fell. Below 2.00 the winnings do not cover the next step: at 1.90 — our lowest published price — a run that wins four and then loses costs two and a half times the base. Above 2.00 it costs less, and a run that fails after two or three wins can even end ahead.
Four failed runs end a challenge, but the next one starts immediately, so there is no floor under a losing streak. Enough of them in a row will empty a bankroll, and once it is empty the plan has nothing left to place.
When the Bankroll Runs Short
If the next step is bigger than what is free, the plan stakes what is left rather than skipping the ticket — quietly, as an ordinary bet at a smaller stake. The max per ticket setting on the Strategies screen does not apply here: Challenge has its own ceiling, and it is the ladder itself — sixteen times the base, so at most €1,600.
How It Ended
Stats → Challenge is the other half: every finished challenge, newest first, won or lost, with three badges — the longest run of wins it reached out of five, how many runs failed out of four, and how many tickets it used. The four figures above them cover the whole record: challenges won and lost, profit — the real change in the bankroll across every bet the challenge placed — and ROI against everything staked, measured the same way as every other ROI in the app. A challenge still running is not listed; it has no result yet.
Each challenge carries its own number — #1 is the oldest, and it never changes — along with the date it started and, underneath, every ticket it played in order, with the ladder step, the odds, the stake and how it ended. That is what makes a single challenge something you can look up rather than just count.
Above the list runs a curve of the bankroll across every challenge — the one thing the rows cannot show you, whether the money moved up or down overall. And inside each ticket every leg carries its own score, not just a win or a loss, because on a tennis under the result turns on the games total and “2:1” cannot tell you that.
What It Cannot Do
No staking plan turns losing tips into winning ones. Challenge does not change which tickets we publish, does not improve their odds, and does not make five wins in a row any likelier than they are. It shapes risk, nothing else. 18+ — please gamble responsibly.
